Product Background:

This aspect of Salesforce is being used to present relevant information to executives

Problem Exploration:

I was asked by a Salesforce product owner to look at how Salesforce is being used to present data to executives. This product owner had a sense that it was too much on the screen at once to be very useful. As I investigated, it was very clear to me that there definitely was too much being presented to users on the screen and further, that it necessitated lots of scrolling up and down.

Approach:

I am currently working in very low-fidelity mockups to present the product owner.

Outcome:

I presented some mockups to a product owner which incorporated some new interactions and a new way to present the data hierarchy.

Reflection:

I would have enjoyed spending more time on this project, but it was very very short flow. The product owner was basically looking for a better to show data in Salesforce but I don’t feel like I had much time to really dive deep into the problem space.
